
Valentine biscuits
Makes at least 12 small biscuits
Ingredients
50g butter
25g caster sugar
2 drops of vanilla extract
90g plain flour
1 tablespoon of milk
You can add chocolate chips or chopped dried fruit.
They could also be iced and sprinkled with 100s and 1000s
Method
Preheat the oven to 150°C.
Add butter and sugar in a bowl and whisk well until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla, and stir it, then add the flour and mix well.
Next add the milk to turn it into a dough with your hands, then chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes if you have time.
Roll out to about 5mm, and cut into different size heart.
Bake on a greased baking sheet for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
When the biscuits have cooled you can Ice them and decorate with hundreds and thousands or shop bought freeze dried raspberries like I have.
You can store in an air tight box for up to a week.

Peanut Butter and Jam Brownies in the Microwave
Makes 4
Ingredients
75g Butter, plus a extra for greasing
50g Peanut Butter
1 egg
25g Cocoa Powder
50g Plain Flour
100g Sugar
Few Teaspoons of Jam
Method
Add the butter and peanut butter to a microwave-proof bowl and cook on High for 30 seconds to melt.
Remove from the microwave and stir allowing to cool slightly then add the egg and mix together.
Mix together the sieved flour and cocoa powder and put the mixture into the heart shaped dishes. Smooth the top of the mixture with the back of a spoon, then using a teaspoon, make holes in the top of the brownie mixture and fill each with jam
Pop two at a time in the microwave for about 3 minutes on High. Remove and leave to cool for 15 minutes, it will carry on cooking as it cools.
Serve with a dusting of cocoa powder and cream.
