I’ve started a new 2 people, low cost food week for the meat eaters out there. Just because you’re on a budget it doesn’t mean you can’t eat free-range chicken and eggs as well as British higher welfare sausages.
I was inspired by my copies of Delicious magazines when I was flicking through them other day, and decided to try out some new recipes.
These ones work well together, as the chicken makes 4 dishes and the sausages 3, so you’re not eating too much meat either, plus there’s lots of vegetables and salads to give you a healthy balanced diet and keep you full for longer.
The weekly shopping also contains enough food for breakfast and lunches. The only extra items you’ll need is the usual salt pepper, oils, herbs and spices etc.
